Project Brief
In early 2007 we were asked by a veteran client, for whom we'd already built a number of websites, to undertake the design and development of a large social network website. This ostentatious project was to encompass all the features of many ultra-popular websites such as YouTube, MySpace and FaceBook.
Solution
The design and development of May Contain Nuts.com took almost a year, and is to date our largest most impressive project. The site was built entirely in house by EyePlot, and used no standard 'off-the-shelf' software. The extensive list of features include chatrooms, a forum, video integration with YouTube, a visitor-led gallery, a blog (online diary), member profiles, internal emailing system, friends list, and more.
We optimised May Contain Nuts.com heavily for search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Subsequently the site is already seeing a vast increase in traffic since its launch. Within the first week of it's launch it brought in over 60 new registered members and a whopping 4,000 hits.
